After posting the below comment I received a call from customer service for Amazon.com. He was able to address my concerns and informed me that my Astro Pneumatic 78803 1/2-Inch Drive Thin Wall Flip Impact Socket Set with Protective Sleeves 3 PC was received today and will be processed for shipping today or tomorrow and that I should receive the unit some time next week. I was unaware that the unit was not in stock when I ordered it but I was made aware that it is clearly stated on their web-site that additional processing time is needed. I made my payment through Amazon payments and it was explained that that was why my credit card was charged so soon, without the unit being shipped yet. Overall I would say that I am satisfied with the response of the customer service at Amazon.com and that my initial displeasure has been abated.
