I was unaware that the unit was not in stock when I ordered it but I was made aware that it is clearly stated on their web-site that additional processing time is needed. I made my payment through Amazon payments and it was explained that that was why my credit card was charged so soon, without the unit being shipped yet. Overall I would say that I am satisfied with the response of the customer service at Amazon.com and that my initial displeasure has been abated.
